Welcome to the official Tadcaster Albion website. We are a football club based in the town of Tadcaster in North Yorkshire. We were formed in 1892. Our ground is situated behind the John Smith's brewery in Tadcaster. We are members of the KoolSport Northern Counties East League Premier Division. We are managed by Paul Marshall who is assisted by coaches Rob Hunter and Mark Smitheringale.

FA Cup:
Albion beat local rivals Garforth Town 1-0 in the Preliminary Round. We will play Shildon at home in the next round. This match will take place on Saturday 11th September, kick off 3.00pm.

Barkston Ash FA Challenge Cup:
Tadcaster Albion Reserves have been drawn at home to Garforth Rangers in the 1st Round. The match will take place on Saturday 18th September, kick off 2.30pm. |
Non League Day - 4th September 2010:
SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL TEAM.
With England playing the night before and the Premier League & Championship taking a week off, I urge fans of the big clubs to get out & watch their local non-league team instead on Saturday 4th September. Given the current financial climate, clubs outside the football league need all the support they can get, so your presence at a game a game will be genuinely appreciated. With tickets and refreshments at a fraction of the cost, what's stopping you?

Barkston Ash Prostar Cup Semi Final:
Tadcaster Albion beat Aberford Albion 4-2 on penalties following a 2-2 draw. Louis Blackwell scored both of Albion's goals. We will now meet Kartiers or Wetherby Athletic in the final. The date for the final is to be confirmed. |

President's Club Cash Draw:

Club Vacancy:
We need a Voluntary Groundsman to look after the playing surface and keep the ground generally neat and tidy. This would ideally suit someone who is able to spare a few hours a week. |
PRESS RELEASE
Tadcaster Albion will kick off next season with a new Chairman following the Club's recent AGM. The current committee and members were unanimous in their decision to appoint Mr Rob Northfield of current sponsor 2inspire as Chairman.
Representatives of the Club are due meet with the FA's legal advisor's next week to discuss various formalities including the incorporation of the Club.
The Club is looking forward to building on last season's successes where it won the Northern Counties East League Division One title in April – the first trophy in the club's 118 year history.
Rob Northfield said, 'Following the success we all enjoyed last season, it is clear to anyone visiting Tadcaster Albion we have entered a new era. An era of getting things right not only on the field but as importantly off the field as well. We will put into action our values of fun, treating people with respect, and therefore making the club an even more important part of the community.'
Albion's pre-season is now well underway and culminates on Wednesday 4 August at the Park with an encounter with a high quality USA U-21 XI (ko 7.45 pm). Prior to this, on 31 July, the Club are hosting a charity family fun day in support of the Help for Heroes campaign.
