BARTON TOWN OLD BOYS 2 TADCASTER ALBION 2

Albion, who were without injured goalkeeper Tom Ryder, got off to the worst possible start conceding a goal after only 90 seconds. The Barton player eluded a few tackles and was allowed to cross the ball to Moody who had a simple tap in. Things got worse after 6 minutes when a cross from the Barton left wing was headed home by Barlow. Albion's first chance was a James header from a Smith cross that was well saved after 11 minutes. Barton could have made it three with 18 minutes played, only a great save from Cammage prevented a goal. Thompson had a free kick that dipped late and hit the top of the net and Smith nearly scored after the keeper parried a shot to the far post. After 35 minutes Barton hit the post and the ball rebounded kindly to Cammage. Albion stared to look more lively in the last ten minutes of the half, they forced a few corners and created a few more chances. Albion scored with their first attack after the break, Taylor found some space running towards the area and hit a shot against the bar, the ball rebounded out to Sunley who cooly slotted the ball beyond the keeper and inside the far post  from a difficult angle. After 50 minutes a cross from Taylor fired fired over by Brandon.  Whitehead, who was getting alot of space and causing problems on the right flank, had a shot saved after 53 minutes. Thompson had another free kick that was just over the bar. James was booked after 62 minutes. After 65 minutes Albion won a free kick, Sunley delivered the free kick into the 6 yard box where Whitehead had lost his marker and headed home. Albion made a couple of subsititutions, both goalscorers Sunley & Whitehead were replaced by Braithwaite & Storey. Barton had been less of an attacking threat in the second half, their best chance came with 7 minutes to go, when they broke clear and Cammage did well to force the player wide and prevent a shot on goal. Smith had a chance after 85 minutes when he broke clear and under pressure he shot early, the shot was saved and the ball rebounded back to him but his second effort was hit over. In the last few minutes James limped off and was replaced by Jeff. The game ended level and Albions promotion hopes remain firmly intact.

TADCASTER ALBION 1 STAVELEY MINERS WELFARE 0

The game was given the go ahead after a pitch inspection at 10 am. Albion were without Jeff who was suspended following his red card at Yorkshire Amateur. Dawson and Brandon were also unavailable. On a heavy pitch it was Albion who created the first chance when Whitehead had a header cleared off the line after 8 minutes. Staveley had a good spell of sustained pressure, they had a goal disallowed for offside after 18 minutes and moments later Ryder's save prevented a goal. Damms & Coy were looking dangerous for Staveley but Albion's defence stood strong. Thompson and Elliker were booked for foul play. After 35 minutes, Whitehead beat a couple of players only to be brought down, he reacted by knocking the offender over using his chest. The Staveley team were demanding that Whitehead was sent off, but the referee after consulting his assistant gave both players a yellow card. Albion scored the only goal of the game after 40 minutes when Taylor hit a powerful shot from outside the box passed the keeper. Albion had a couple of efforts that were off target from Sunley and Braithwaite leading up to half time. Early in the 2nd half, Taylor had a chance to double the lead but he was thwarted by a good save from the Staveley keeper. Staveley started to press for a equaliser, James was booked for foul play and after 59 minutes Ryder dived to his right to brilliantly save a shot from the edge of the box. As Staveley pushed forward, Albion were able to counter attack. After 67 minutes, Braithwaite had a shot saved and after 75 minutes Smith beat the offside trap and was through on the keeper, instead of shooting his attempted square ball was intercepted. The last 15 minutes, Staveley threw everything but the kitchen sink at Albion without creating a genuine opportunity, thanks to some solid defending. A nervous last few minutes was brought to a close by the referee and Albion leapfrog Staveley to go 4th in the league.

Albion started the match blightly with the Villa keeper forced into making an early save from Smith's shot. After 9 minutes, Albion were given a scare when a Villa player ghosted in unmarked at the far post to get a free header, Ryder saved brilliantly low to his left. Albion took the lead after 14 minutes, Jeff delivered a corner into the area, Smith had an effort that was saved, Whitehead then directed the ball against the post the ball then bounced out to Thompson who blasted it home through a congested goal line from 8 yards out. After 58 minutes, James conceded a free kick midway in his own half. The free kick was chipped to a Villa player who had lost his marker and he was able to hit an early shot passed Ryder. From the restart, Smith had a cross that evaded the keeper and nearly dipped under the bar. After 62 minutes Villa had a shot that hit the side netting. Tadcaster made a double substitiution with 65 minutes played, Taylor & Braithwaite replaced James & Sunley. Not content with a point, Albion pressed forward in search of a winner. This gave Villa opportunities to attack Albion on the break making the outcome of the match uncertain as the game opened up and the action was end to end. Albion made their final substitutions with 10 minutes remaining when Storey replaced Brandon. Storey missed a great chance soon after coming on, when he beat the offside trap and was through on the keeper, he hit a low shot passed the keeper but against the post and the ball was cleared to safety. With four minutes to go Braithwaite delivered a cross from the right wing into the 6 yard box where Storey managed to get the ball beyond the keeper and across the line.

LEEDS CARNEGIE 1 TADCASTER ALBION 1

Albion were without Graeme Whithead due to work committments for their visit to top of the league, Leeds Carnegie. Leeds are the in form team winning their last 10 league games. Both teams started steadily with very few real chances created. After 20 minutes, James was carried off following a horror tackle from the Leeds No. 5, a yellow card was shown for the challange and following a lengthy stoppage James was replaced by Braithwaite. Thirkell moved to right back. Midway through the 1st half Leeds created a chance and Ryder did well to save at the feet of the forward. Albion then had a good spell of the game, after 30 minutes Jeff scored with a close range volley after Leeds were unable to deal with a ball delivered into the box. Albion were getting the ball forward quickly to the frontmen and causing the opposition problems. King shot wide from 18 yards when he ran onto a Brandon pass and Thompson had a free kick from 25 yards saved by the keeper. Leeds had a strong final few minutes to the 1st half and Albion defended well. In the 2nd half Albion had chances to double their lead. After 51 minutes, Thirkell had a powerful shot from a tight angle saved by the keeper. Soon after, Taylor had a couple of shots go over the bar. With 60 minutes gone Downing replaced King. Brandon had a shot from inside the area that missed the target after 62 minutes. On 70 minutes the Leeds No. 5 got his marching orders for a second yellow card. Dawson was booked for foul play and the resulting free kick was tipped over by Ryder. With 10 minutes to go Downing squandered a good chance choosing to lob the keeper and over hitting his lob over the bar. Sunley replaced Storey. The 10 men of Leeds pushed forward for an equaliser as Albion started to defend deeper and struggled to get the ball out of their own half. Downing and Taylor were booked as the tackles became more desparate. With a couple of minutes left Leeds forced an undeserved equaliser with a powerful shot from with a box that went in off the underside of the bar.

TADCASTER ALBION 4 ROSSINGTON MAIN 4

The match got off to a flying start with 4 goals in the first 8 minutes. Rossington opened the scoring after 2 minutes when Hastie, unmarked in the box, slotted the ball under Ryder and beat the defender on the line from 6 yards. Albion scored almost immediately when Braithwaite played a ball over the top to Brandon who struck a left foot shot passed the keeper from 10 yards. Albion made it 2-1 after 5 minutes following good work from Storey who battled for the ball and passed to Brandon to score a near identical goal to his first. After 8 minutes Rossington scored following a corner that Ryder and the defence were unable to deal with. Rossington made it 3-2 five minutes before half time following a neat passing move and shot from the edge of the box. On the stroke of half time, Brandon was brought down by the keeper in the box and the referee awarded a penalty. Brandon scored the penalty to claim his hat trick. In the second half Albion started well but quickly faded as Rossington created a host of chances. Jackson was unlucky not to score when his header was saved then from the rebound he had a shot  that was blocked on the line. Downing replaced Storey after 60 minutes as Albion changes to 442 with Jeff going to left back. Suggitt was booked for a rash challenge. Rossington started to look dangerous and Albion seemed to be struggling to defend with any confidence and looked vulnerable to crosses. A couple of Rossington chances went begging before they were rewarded with a goal after 67 minutes, when a low cross into a crowded area was turned in by Vernon. After 70 minutes Downing had a chance cleared off the line, shortly after King replaced Jeff. Albion won a corner after 74 minutes that was headed goalward, in a frantic attempt  to clear the ball two Rossington players got in each others way and the ball was turned into his own net by Nicholls. Sunley was booked after 78 minutes. As the match entered the final stages it looked like only one team could win it. Albion's attacks were failing with some poor passing in the final third of the pitch. Rossington were creating chances and only thanks to some reliable goalkeeping from Ryder did Albion salvage a point from the game.

TADCASTER ALBION RESERVES 3 KIPPAX 4

Albion, who were looking for revenge following the Temple Newsam cup final defeat at the hands of Kippax, fell behind to a 2nd minute goal. Things got worse when some poor defending led to a second Kippax goal after 25 minutes. Albion created very little and were second best in the 1st half. Albion made a change at half time with Farthing introduced to add a bit of experience and creativity to the midfield. The second half was much better for Albion with the wind at their backs, it was Kippax however who scored after 52 minutes when Cammage rushed off his line and allowed the Kippax forward to chip the ball over him into an empty net. Albion were pushing forward and Farthing missed a couple of good chances to get Albion back into the game. With 80 minutes gone, Albion scored when Ward crossed from the right flank and Deighton scored from the edge of the six yard box. 3 minutes later Albion won a free kick close to the bye line which Deighton delivered with precision onto the head of Pitts to make it 3-2. Kippax looked stunned as Albion could see an opportunity to save the game. After 86 minutes Farthing played an inch perfect pass to the feet of Ward who fired it home. The referee seemed reluctant to send the game into extra time, as the game entered the 96th minute Kippax were awarded a penalty for a foul that was committed at least a yard outside the penalty area. Kippax scored from the resulting penalty to send them into the semi finals.

TADCASTER ALBION 2 AFC EMLEY 1

The match between the league leaders and 3rd place AFC Emley started in heavy rain making playing conditions difficult. Tadcaster forced a few early corners, one of which resulted in a goal line clearance to prevent an own goal. After 15 minutes, Emley hit the post with a shot from the edge of the box following a corner. Whitehead was denied by a brilliant save after 24 minutes. Albion struggled in the latter stages of the 1st half, constant Emley pressure meant Albion were unable to get the ball out of their own half. Only thanks to last ditch defending, a goal line clearance and a couple of Ryder saves did the game remain goalless. The 2nd half started better for Albion, Braithwaite met a pull back from King cross and his shot was saved. After 55 minutes, Braithwaite made it 1-0 with an effort from the right. Three minutes later, Emley equalised after Albion had lost possession on the half way line, an attack and left wing cross from Emley, which Albion were unable to clear fell to Stuart who scored from 8 yards. Albion regained the lead after 63 minutes when Brandon's shot was spilled by the keeper and Jeff fired the loose ball into the net from 6 yards. Tadcaster made a couple of substitutions, Downing replaced Sunley and then Storey replaced King. Brandon was seeing alot of the ball and causing the Emley defence problems. Tadcaster created numerous chances to get a third goal, with Whitehead having a couple of efforts and Downing and Brandon both having shots saved. Late in the game Emley pushed forward in search of an equaliser but the Albion defence stood firm under pressure. Wilson replaced Brandon with 91 minutes on the clock. Albion held on to remain top of the league and travel to Eccleshill next week.

TADCASTER ALBION 0 KIPPAX 1

Tadcaster Albion made 10 changes from the team that played so well the previous night in the County Cup tie against Guiseley. Captain, Danny Pitts being the only player to start both matches. The first half was a scrappy affair with neither team able to get the upper hand. Albion failed to create any goalscoring opportunities and the Kippax keeper was not tested. Kippax scored in the 39th minute after the Albion defence gave the ball away allowing the Kippax striker to have a clear run on goal where he beat Cammage from inside the area. During the first half Albion changed to a 442 formation. The highlight of the evening was the half time pie and peas. The second half was a slight improvement for Albion although Kippax could have doubled their lead after 52 minutes when with only Cammage to beat they were off target. Jeff replaced Derrick after 58 minutes, shortly after Braithwaite tested the keeper with a 20 yard shot. Phil Smith replaced King after 65 minutes and added a bit of pace and flair on the left wing. After 70 minutes Jeff had a good chance from 15 yards that he fired wide. With 15 minutes to go Deighton replaced Kevin Smith. Deighton had a difficult half chance that went wide. In the last 10 minutes Albion pushed forward without causing the Kippax defence too many problems.

TADCASTER ALBION 2 GUISELEY 3 (after extra time)

Albion, playing a team who are three divisions higher, took an unexpected lead in the 7th minute when a mix up between the Guiseley keeper and defender resulted in an own goal. Guiseley piled on the pressure and were unlucky not to equalise when they hit the bar with a far post header after 16 minutes and then Elliker cleared off the line after 25 minutes. Albion won a corner after Storey's effort was blocked. Guiseley couldn't clear the corner and Thompson managed a shot that was saved by the keeper. Downing fluffed a great chance to double Albion's lead when he was clear through with only the keeper to beat, he tried to go round the keeper but his heavy touch pushed the ball too far and the opportunity was lost. On the stroke of half time Ryder made a full length low save and pushed the ball against the post. Guiseley equalised after 52 minutes with a shot from within the area and then 8 minutes later they took the lead after a period of sustained pressure. Albion made an immediate double substitution with Smith & King replacing Downing & Brandon. After 63 minutes Albion equalised when Thompson drove a 25 yards shot inside the far post. Albion had a let off after 75 minutes when Guiseley had good chance that was blasted over the bar. With 8 minutes remaining King's pass found Smith in a good position, Smith attempted to lob the keeper but his effort was inches over. Braithwaite replaced Sunley as the game headed for extra time. Whitehead was booked early in extra time. Albion had the best chance of the 1st half when King gathered the ball on the right flank and with the keepr off his line and out of position he missed the target. Halfway though the 2nd half Guiseley got the winner from a left wing cross and a near post tap in. Jeff was booked for foul play. With Albion pushing forward in numbers, Ryder made a classy save to deny what looked like a certain goal. In the final seconds Albion forced a corner, Ryder out of his goal was very close to getting his head to the corner, after a bit of panic defending Guiseley cleared the danger.

TADCASTER ALBION 4 WORSBROUGH BRIDGE ATH 0

Albion made four changes from their midweek cup win against Rossington.  Early in the game they signalled their intent when Braithwaite had a shot saved. After 16 minutes, a free kick taken by Braithwaite was headed wide by James at the far post. On the half hour, Worsbrough had a long range shot destined for the top corner, that was brilliantly saved by Ryder. Soon after, another Braithwaite delivery was headed over by Brandon from 6 yards. Pitts had one of his trademark free kicks that was blocked by the wall and went for a corner.  A couple of minutes before half time, Jeff surged into the box and made the keeper make a save, the ball rebounded out to Storey who blasted the ball in from 10 yards. Halft time 1-0. Shortly after the restart Brandon crossed to Braithwaite who shot over the bar. After 55 minutes, Brandon weaved into the box and squared he ball to Braithwaite. Braithwaite's shot appeared to be going just wide until a defender slid in attempting to clear it and directed it into the goal. Pitts had a header over the bar after 60 minutes. Two minutes later, Brandon received the ball and hit a right foot shot, from just inside the box, passed the keeper. With 20 minutes to go Tadcaster made a double substitution, Dowling and Wilson replaced Jeff and Jackson. After 73 minutes, Braithwaite delivered a corner to the near post where Brandon reacted quickest and hit a first time shot passed the defence to make it 4-0. With 12 minutes left, Smith replaced Braithwaite. Albion continued to dominate and looked as if they would add to their goal tally. However, Worsborough managed to keep the Albion at bay and the game finished a comfortable 4-0  win to TAFC.

ASKERN VILLA 1 TADCASTER ALBION 1

Albion started slowly in the top of the league clash. Askern hit the post in the 1st minute. Shortly after Askern had a strong appeal for a penalty turned down, when Ryder appeared to fell an incoming attacker. After 5 minutes, Tadcaster had their first attempt on goal when a Pitts header was turned round the post by the Askern keeper. Ryder saved an Askern chance from a corner after 24 minutes. Tadcaster's best chance in the first half fell to Downing after 30 minutes, the ball broke to him free in the area but his weak first time shot was easily saved by the keeper. Askern scored in the 35th minute after a good spell of possession. With Albion unable to clear the ball out of defence, Askern's neat build up was rewarded with a fine strike to make it 1-0. Just before the break an alert Ryder had to make a fine save low to his right post. Things needed changing at half time, Tadcaster had been second best and Downing was looking isolated and ineffective upfront on his own. Things did change, as the Tadcaster management team brought on Smith in place of Dowling, Jeff went to left back and Smith played upfront in a 442 formation. An immediate improvement was noticeable, Tadcaster looked livelier and more of an attacking threat. After 55 minutes they were rewarded when Smith latched on to a through ball, he rounded the keeper and shot from a tight angle. His shot was cleared off the line straight back to him, Smith managed to cross the ball to Downing in the 6 yard box who blasted the ball passed defender and keeper to make it 1-1. With 62 minutes gone, Braithwaite met a Downing cross and his shot was blocked for a corner. From the resulting corner a Jankowicz shot appeared to be blocked in the area by an Askern defender's arm, however nothing was given. Sunley's shot was blocked and the ball ran to Downing who dragged his shot wide after 72 minutes. Storey replaced Braithwaite with 15 minutes to go and a couple of minutes later Wilson came on for Whitehead. Wilson played up front and Downing dropped into midfield. Wilson and Smith combined well up front and Albion had a spell where Askern were defending frantically. But a winner was not forthcoming and a draw was probably a fair result.

BRIGHOUSE TOWN 2 TADCASTER ALBION 3

Albion's match started badly when, after only 2 minutes, Danny Pitts was knocked unconcious while attempting to clear a Brighouse free kick. After a lengthy stoppage and a period off the pitch to receive treatment Pitts was able to continue. Albion took the lead after 13 minutes when Kevin Smith latched on to a long ball from Nigel Danby, Smith hit a low shot passed the keeper. Brighouse pushed forward but Tadcaster were the team creating the chances. Alan Jackson had a shot saved after 19 minutes and Nigel Danby had a header saved from a Mike Braithwaite corner after 22 minutes. Brighouse equalised following a corner (they must have had 20 corners in the game), a deep corner was knocked back into the area and forced home by the Brighouse captain. On the half hour, Paul James came on for Danny Pitts who was suffering from concussion and the captains armband was handed to Nigel Danby. After 34 minutes Mike Braithwaite had the ball in the penalty area when he was hauled back. The referee awarded a penalty. Kevin Smith hammered the penalty into the top corner to make it 2-1. Two minutes later Mike Braithwaite was clear through and blasted his shot over the bar. The second half started with Albion defending the majority of the time. Brighouse were dominating the possession without seriously threatening to score. After 60 minutes Albion made a tactical switch by bringing on Andy Sunley for Alan Jackson and changing to a 4-5-1 formation. With 70 minutes gone Kevin Smith ran on to a through ball, shugged off a defender and attempted to go round the keeper, he was denied by a tackle which prevented him getting any power into his shot. Mike Braithwaite has a good chance from 10 yards saved by the keeper after 75 minutes. In the last 15 minutes Tadcaster spent alot of time in their own half as Brighouse searched of an equaliser. Tom Ryder made numerous saves, one memourable save to deny what looked like a certain goal was followed by a quick counter attack. The ball was fed to Kevin Smith on the left wing, Smith's cross found Matthew Suggitt at the far post who out jumped the defender and headed over the keeper to make it 3-1. Ian McLean replaced Brad Dowling following the goal. With 10 minutes remaining, Brighouse continued to throw men forward and Albion defended heroically and sometimes desparately. There were a couple of Brighouse attempts cleared off the line. With a minute to go Brighouse scored and with 3 minutes of injury time to be added it was a nervous end to the game. Tadcaster hung on and are rewarded with an away tie at Whickham in the next round.

TADCASTER ALBION 4 HEMSWORTH MINERS WELFARE 2 (after extra time)

Tadcaster made six changes from the team that beat Glasshoughton at the weekend. It was Tadcaster who took the lead after 14 minutes through Sunley's well taken goal. Hemsworth equalised when a long ball beat the Albion defence and Ryder could do little to prevent the goal. Albion missed two good chances with a Danby header that was easier to score than to miss and a Sunley volley with only the keeper to beat. The 2nd half saw both teams going for the win without creating too many goalscoring opportunities. Albion made two substitutions midway through the 2nd half when Phil Smith replaced an injured Braithwaite and Biscombe replaced McLean. After 78 minutes, Albion took the lead when a Jeff cross was deflected into his own goal by Haywood. With 10 minutes of normal time remaining, Watson replaced Jankowicz. In the dying minutes, Hemsworth equlaised to send the game into extra time. The 1st half of extra time failed to produce a goal. Albion broke the deadlock 5 minutes into the 2nd half when Kevin Smith, who was unmarked in the 6 yard box, was picked out with a cross, Smith cooly headed passed the keeper to make it 3-2. Hemsworth had to push forward in search of an equaliser and Tadcaster took advantage when Jackson raced clear of the defence, gathered the ball, rounded the keeper and took an eternity to score from the angle.

TADCASTER ALBION 2 TEVERSAL 1

Tadcaster Albion fielded a near full strength team, with only Tom Ryder missing due to injury and Kevin Smith absent due to a stag party. Alan Jackson replaced Smith at centre forward. Albion created an early half chance when Mike Braithwaite beat the keeper to a 50/50 ball and guided the ball towards an empty net. A Teversal defender managed to get back and clear the ball off the line. After 11 minutes, Graham Whitehead hit a shot from outside the box that rattled the post and rebound back out. The Teversal defence failed the clear and Whitehead pounced on a hesitant defender in possession to poke the ball home from 6 yards out. Albion's next good chance came after 42 minutes, when Alan Jackson headed the ball into the path of Steve Rollinson, Rollinson took his shot early which was well saved by the keeper. Albion doubled their lead in time added on at the end of the 1st half. Alan Jackson lobbed an inch perfect pass to Graham Whitehead unmarked in the penalty area who volleyed right foot passed the keeper. In the second half Albion were less dangerous as an attacking threat. Graham Whitehead had a trademark powerful long range effort saved after 60 minutes. Sunny Panesar replaced Steve Rollinson after 75 minutes. Teversal had a strong last 15 minutes and had Albion pegged back in their own half, forcing successive corners. One of the corners resulted in a near miss as a header shaved the outside of the upright. With 8 minutes left, Graham Whitehead had a chance to get his third, an Alan Jackson pass found Whitehead who with the keeper to beat had his shot saved. Teversal continued to press forward and were rewarded for their efforts with a consolation goal deep into injury time. Albion maintained their 100% league record. Next weekend it is the FA Vase clash at Glasshoughton.

TADCASTER ALBION 5 GLASSHOUGHTON WELFARE 0

Albion got off to the perfect start when Steve Rollinson fired home from the edge of the area after 3 minutes. There were few opportunities to increase the lead in the first half. Ryan Watson had a close range effort saved after 15 minutes and Kevin Smith had a shot go just wide of the post after 29 minutes. Glasshoughton had a good spell just before half time forcing a succession of corners, one of which was nearly headed into his own net by Stephen Jeff. Albion doubled their lead straight after the break, when a Rollinson cross was headed against the bar by Kevin Smith and the rebound was met by Sunny Panesar to make it 2-0. Ryan Watson limped off after 50 minutes. Rollinson was causing havoc down the right hand side, his 65th minute cross was driven home by Graham Whitehead. Sunny Panesar was replaced by Alan Jackson. After 75 minutes, Brad Dowling delivered an excellent cross, from close to the corner flag, which found Alan Jackson unmarked in the area who headed home low to the keepers right. Tom Ryder picked up an injury and was replaced in goal by Kevin Smith, Andy Sunley came on as substitute. Albion scored their fifth and final goal after 77 minutes when a Stephen Jeff cross was headed home by Graham Whitehead. TATE & LYLE SELBY 3 TADCASTER ALBION 3 (Albion win 13-12 on penalties)

Albion had a good first 10 minutes without creating too much to get excited about. Then after 22 minutes Harkin grabbed a poachers goal for T&L. The lead was doubled just before half time after some poor Tadcaster defending. Albion's only real chances fell to Graham Whitehead who had a shot deflected over and to Alan Jackson who headed a Lee Fisher lob over the bar. Tadcaster looked a different team in the 2nd half, chances were being created and T&L were starting to look raggy. After 55 minutes Lee Fisher's shot was saved and rebounded out to Alan Jackson to guide home from close range, Jackson had another similar chance minutes later, after a Stephen Jeff shot, that was well saved. Mike Braithwaite had a goal disallowed for handball after 59 minutes. Tadcaster's domination lost momentum slightly as T&L defended with purpose. With 10 minutes to go substitute Michael Walsh had a shot from outside the area well saved. Time seemed to be running out when Graham Whitehead hit a 25 yeard screamer into the top corner to equalise. With 90 minutes on the clock, Graham Whitehead scored again with a shot from the edge of the box. Time was virtually up when Mike Braithwaite conceeded a free kick in his own half. The free kick was not cleared and fell to a T&L player in the 6 yard box who scored to send the game to penalties. 25 penalties were sc
